The low costs and near infinite scalability of software make SaaS the “perfect” investment - easy to measure, easy to scale, easy to exit Now contrast that with often expensive, slow and maintenance-needed hardware solutions like carbon capture/direct air capture (DAC), renewables infrastructure or industrial recycling and it’s no wonder why most VCs prefer software.
